BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn — A 12-year-old boy was struck by a car while riding a scooter against traffic in Brooklyn Monday morning, according to the NYPD
The child was hit near the intersection of Cadman Plaza West and Middagh Street around 8:10 a.m., police officials said.
He was with his mother while riding a scooter against traffic, from east to west, when he was struck by a BMW traveling northbound, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene.
